Larry is a businessman, entrepreneur, and doctoral-level psychologist. Thirty-five years ago, Maryanne Peabody and Larry Stybel founded what is today Stybel Peabody Lincolnshire, an Arbora Global Company. (www.arboraglobal.com).  Its mission: Leadership and Career Success.

Larry Stybel and Maryanne Peabody run a support group for members of Boards of Directors of Boston area companies called Seat at the Table. He and Kevin Rhodes ran a support group for Boston area public company CFOs for the Financial Executives International. He also ran a support group for mid-size company Chief HR Officers for the New England Human Resource Association.

Stybel Peabody clients include 21% of the 100 companies listed by FORTUNE MAGAZINE as “Best Employers” in the United States plus two of the Big Four CPA firms. He works with some of the region’s leading family firms and physician practice groups on issues revolving around leadership and succession.

Larry received his doctorate in organization behavior from Harvard University and his M.A. in clinical psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

PSYCHOLOGY TODAY MAGAZINE publishes Stybel Peabody’s monthly perspectives, “Platform for Success: the making of great leaders.”  There are an average of 12,000 downloads each year.

He was previously an Executive Compensation Consultant for Hay Associates Management Consultants and wrote a column in JOURNAL OF COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Larry was a member of the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors and on the Business Advisory Board of the Solbridge School of International Business in South Korea. He is on the Board of FitUS, a SaaS for fitness club members and Zapoint, a venture backed SaaS in talent management.
